What to do This Week: February 12-18

Hi Guys! It's been so long! Let me catch you up on what's been happening these past few weeks:

1. I got the flu
2. I had to recover from the flu
3. I had to catch up on my real job due to all my days missed (thanks, flu).

In all seriousness, I've never had the flu before and it suuuuuucked. But, I'm back. Here are all of the cool things you should consider when planning out your week.

Monday, February 12

Walla Walla Wine Sampling at McCaw Hall - $50/ticket gets you unlimited wine samples and appetizers. Yes plz. 

Alternatively, if you're a service man or woman, the Melting Pot in Bellevue is having a Service Appreciation Day during which you can enjoy 20% off your dinner. Yum.

Tuesday, February 13

There is, weirdly, a lot going on Tuesday. There's Naughty Bingo at Thrasher's Pub in Bothell (no link for it, but it happens every Tuesday at 7:00 if you're looking for something to do in that area), and Trivia Tuesday at the Runaway is Stranger Things themed. There's also regular Trivia + Taco Tuesday at Reuben's Brews if Stranger Things wasn't your jam. And as always, Cinebarre in Mountlake Terrace is having $6 movies on Tuesday.

Wednesday, February 14

Go enjoy cornhole at Scuttlebutt Taproom & Brewery or, if you're in the mood for a show, there are a couple really fun local bands, Shark Legs and FLRT, playing at the Tractor Tavern in Ballard.

Thursday, February 15

Celebrate Thirsty Thursday with Karaoke in the Back Bar at Mama's Cantina.

Friday, February 16

If you're looking to get out and dance, definitely check out the Beyonce vs. Rhianna dance party at Chop Suey or Aston Manor's Chinese New Year celebration. Also, Karaoke in the Back Bar (from above) is happening again on Friday.
Mama Mia is also at the 5th Avenue Theater, and there's more 21+ Bingo at Ballard Elks Lodge. It's cash only and costumes are encouraged. Go down some Jello shots for a good cause.

Saturday, February 17

If you're into live music, Acapulco Lips and Bread and Butter are playing at the Sunset  in Ballard this weekend. I've seen Acapulco Lips at Bumbershoot and they're this amazing surf-rock band. 

Sunday, February 18

And honestly, what better way to celebrate Sunday than with Yoga + Mimosas at the Tasting Room (scroll to the  bottom of page for description and details)?
